Treescapes
Treescapes is a brand new two-bedroom house nestled in native bush looking out to the Tasman Sea. Situated just one kilometre south of the Punakaiki River it’s ideal for Paparoa Track bikers and trampers, road trippers, families, or small groups.
The house has an open plan fully equipped kitchen and living area with a large covered deck, perfect for outdoor dining. Both bedrooms have queen beds, and one also has a wooden bunk set. All linen and towels provided. A track at the back of the house winds up through the garden to a wooden seat for sunset gazing Another short track across the road takes you through regenerating bush to the beach. There you can fossick for pounamu. Treescapes is also just up the road from the only mainland breeding colony of the tāiko (Westland Petrel). The house is double-glazed and has a fire.
